Question – What is the best deodorant for excessive sweating?
Answer – There are plenty antiperspirant deodorants on the market for excessive sweating (Hyperhidrosis). Any that have a 20% concentration of Aluminium Chloride should do the trick. However, some can cause a lot of irritation to those of you that have sensitive skin (especially on the underarms), so always test a small amount first to be on the safe side.
As these excessive sweating deodorants tend to irritate the skin, it’s wise to wash the area first then pat dry with a warm towel until completely dry. After you apply the solution pat talcum powder on to the area, this will help with any irritation to the skin. Always apply before bed too, as that’s when you’re more likely to be dry and relaxed. It won’t work as effectively if you apply when you’re sweating. Also, because of the chemicals in the strong antiperspirants you’ll stain your clothes if you don’t give them enough time to soak into the skin thoroughly.
